Brush 16-1 is 2021 Chevrolet medium duty built as a Type 6 wildland engine.  It is equipped with 400 gallons of water and light auto extrication tools.  Brush 16-1 serves as our Type 6 wildland apparatus that is crossed staffed during fire season at Station 16-1.  Brush 16-1 is designed to fight fires in areas unreachable with a Type 1 pumper.
